Debate got my job back.

It seems that every job i have ever had there is always a point in time in which they want to fire me....but i have eluded management thus far.

So I walk into work one day and they say that they can't have me working there anymore. I do a 1,2,3, cool the jets, and say i wanna talk to my boss.

The one thing you need to know about this job is that its the cafeteria at a community college with an average of 100 people eating there every night....not a big deal at all if i cant come in. They have always been really cool about me not coming in if i tell them in advance. The main reason i didnt go into work would be cause i had a fuck ton of homework.

So the jist of what i told her is that it was there fault for letting me not come in especially since they never said that they were short staffed. she made THREE crucial mistakes in this debate 1st not knowing this was a debate 2. repeatedly saying that my firing wasn't "my fault" and 3rd not knowing or respecting the SKILLZ.

I got my job back.

High school debate is a life skill not just an extra curricular activity.

Management every where can suck it.
